In March, our school launched the ” China Inner Mongolia Nomadic Ecology and Cultural Roots Exploration Tour ” as part of our Deep Learning Exchange Tour Programme. The trip took students deep into local grasslands and deserts, raising their environmental awareness by showing them the vulnerability of these ecosystems and the need to protect them. Students also fully immersed themselves in Mongolian nomadic culture by staying in traditional yurts, learning local crafts, experiencing traditional performing arts, and enjoying local food, which greatly enhanced their cross-cultural appreciation and respect.
The Man Kwan Education Organisation, founded by Professor Tam Man Kwan and Ms. Yung Lai Chun, has been promoting education development in Hong Kong through school management, education seminars and training, organizing academic competitions and activities that help students grow. The “Man Kwan Education Fund” (hereinafter called the Fund) has established the “Tin Shui Wai Children” award scheme since 2007 in order to encourage more primary pupils in Tin Shui Wai/Yuen Long to establish goals and study hard, providing a platform to commend positive, optimistic and diligent students.
As the “Tin Shui Wai Children” award scheme reaches its 18th year, which has accumulated more than 2,500 student participants. The Fund will continue to work hard for the development of the Tin Shui Wai community and benefit more school children.
This year’s award program has four categories: “Outstanding Kids,” “Talented Kids,” “Self-strengthening Kids,” and “Innovative Kids.” The outstanding performances of students in each category will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the most outstanding students will be awarded the relevant prizes.
Five students will be selected from each category, and each student will receive a scholarship of HKD 2,000*. They will also be able to participate in the Fund’s summer learning activities to enhance their leadership skills and broaden their horizons.
“Outstanding Kids”: Reward students who have outstanding performance in academics or extracurricular activities.
“Talented Kids”: Reward students who have unique talents in literature, recitation, music, drama, dance, sports, visual arts, or other fields.
“Self-strengthening Kids “: Reward students who continue to work hard and maintain a positive and optimistic attitude in adversity and have achieved success.
“Innovative Kids”: Reward students who can fully demonstrate their creativity in science, scientific research, or information technology fields.

The UK London Study Tour 2026 has successfully concluded.
This journey was far more than an overseas visit — it was an immersive learning experience integrating technology, culture, history, and global perspectives.
A key highlight of the trip was students’ participation in the BETT Show, one of the world’s largest education technology exhibitions. Students explored innovative EdTech solutions, AI-powered learning tools, and emerging teaching models from around the globe. Through observation and interaction with exhibitors, they gained forward-looking insights into how technology is transforming education and inspiring new approaches to learning.
Beyond educational technology, students visited the prestigious University of Oxford, experiencing its academic atmosphere and reflecting on their own aspirations. At the British Museum, they examined world civilizations through historical artifacts. They also explored iconic landmarks such as Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London Eye and the Buckingham Palace, deepening their understanding of British history, governance, and urban development.
In the realm of arts and culture, students visited Covent Garden and enjoyed the world-class stage production Harry Potter, experiencing the creativity of the UK’s cultural industries. Through workshops at the Apple Store, they further explored how digital tools enhance learning effectiveness and creativity.
This study tour allowed students to step beyond the classroom and into the world. Through authentic experiences and cross-cultural exposure, they broadened their global outlook, strengthened communication skills, and developed greater independence and critical thinking.
