Literary Dialogue, Inspiring Minds

Literary Dialogue, Inspiring Minds

To foster students’ interest in reading and writing, our school specially invited renowned Hong Kong author Ms. Chiu Hiu Tung to deliver a captivating talk for all Secondary 1 students!

During the engaging session, Ms. Chiu shared her creative journey in a vivid and interesting way, unraveling the secrets of inspiration behind her words.

This talk not only allowed our junior secondary students to experience the charm of literature up close, but also ignited their imagination and creative passion. We believe that throughout their future learning journeys, students will translate this love for words into moving stories of their own.

Art Salon 2026 – Polka dots, pumpkins, and Infinity Mirror Rooms? Now, that’s an inspiring combo!

Art Salon 2026 - Polka dots, pumpkins, and Infinity Mirror Rooms? Now, that’s an inspiring combo!

Kicking off this year’s “Art Salon 2026” is Yayoi Kusama, the world-renowned “Queen of Polka Dots” whose journey took her from Nagano, Japan, to the pinnacle of the global art world. Transforming her neuro-hallucinations into a unique artistic language, she has captivated the world with her iconic dots, pumpkins, and mesmerizing Infinity Mirror Rooms.

This time, our entire school community joined hands to bring a massive art installation—standing over 2 meters tall—to life! Through this collaborative journey, students did not just connect deeply with Kusama’s artistic soul; they also embraced teamwork, inclusion, and acceptance, breaking away from the typical solitude of artistic creation.

As a grand finale, the project integrated with “Deep Learning Week” to launch an exciting cross-disciplinary, cross-grade exploration. While visual arts teachers passed on traditional crafts like woodworking, paper-crafting, papier-mâché, and coloring, science teachers stepped in to demystify tensegrity structures, composite materials, and the laws of light reflection. A magical journey of “Infinity Mirror Rooms”—where aesthetics perfectly meets science—starts right here!
