The purpose of the study tours is to expose our students to a wider range of learning experiences and opportunities in order to broaden their global vision. When studying with young people from various cultures, our students are readying themselves with creativity, communication skills, collaborative skills, discernment, values and citizenship which are key to future success.
Study tours take students beyond the familiar and the experience is turned into deep learning through reflective assignments and integration with different subjects. Our theme-based and curriculum-based study tours are not simply a chance for language practice; they also offer opportunities for students to get knowledge of culture, history, art, technology, learn about conservation and the university education of other countries.
Every point drives us to rise stronger.
Let’s keep the momentum going.
Come and support the team in the next match!

With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching and the upcoming Sports Day on Monday and Tuesday, our Reading Ambassadors hosted a special sharing session during lunchtime today under the “Reading Everyday” Online Platform series. We were thrilled to have two teachers share inspiring books on these wonderful themes. Mr. Luk Felix, our PE teacher, shared books about sportsmanship and athletic spirit to pump everyone up for the upcoming Sports Day, while Mr. Cheung King Choi, our Chinese teacher, guided students through touching stories celebrating Mid-Autumn traditions and culture.
To make the event even more engaging, we created a special AI-generated video. Special thanks go to Wong Chun Tao from class 4B and Leung Kwan Chi Aalyah from class 4E for their wonderful voiceovers in the Chinese and English version, bringing the video to life.
Wishing everyone a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival and the best of luck at the Sports Day. Be sure to log into the platform and start reading today!

The 2026–2027 MKPC School Opening Ceremony was successfully held on 24 September at Tuen Mun Town Hall, under the theme “Think Big, Aim Far”. “Think Big” encourages students to dream boldly and not limit their potential; “Aim Far” reminds us to look beyond short-term marks or setbacks and prepare for the journey ahead. We thank School Supervisor Professor Tam Man Kwan, Principal Wong Wing Tung, school managers, over 250 parents, teachers, alumni and students for joining us to mark the start of the new academic year.
Awards including the All-round Award Scheme and the Man Kwan Pak Kau Grand Award were presented in recognition of excellence in academics, service, sports and extra-curricular activities. Parents and students shared their stories, and the whole school took a pledge for the year ahead. Performances — handbell, Latin dance, unicycle, and a choir of parents and teachers — showed the MKPC spirit of care, teamwork and the courage to shine.
In the new academic year, may every student think bigger, aim farther, and walk their own brilliant path!
MKPC sports teams have kicked off their weekly morning runs with great energy! Over 70 students from the basketball, football, handball, volleyball and rugby teams are joining the run to promote “Exercise Every Day”. More teams will join soon as we run together for health, team spirit and a stronger sports culture!
The Hong Kong Vigor Marching Band and a joint ensemble formed by the Man Kwan Education Organisation—comprising the Marching Bands of our school, Jockey Club Man Kwan EduYoung College, and Man Kwan QualiEd College—travelled to Shenzhen with over 30 members from September 15 to 19 to participate in an exchange programme.
Music knows no boundaries. Through wind music, students connected with peers from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, experiencing the true joy of musical exchange. This invaluable event gave them the opportunity to perform on stage, showcase the fruits of their training, and build lasting friendships through music.
During the five-day trip, students also visited local schools for cultural exchange. The organizers arranged immersive cultural activities in Shenzhen and visits to high-tech companies, allowing students to gain firsthand insight into technological development and local heritage on the Mainland. In doing so, they truly lived out our School Supervisor’s motto: “Stand tall and look far ahead.”
Through this exchange, students not only honed their performance skills, but also broadened their horizons and forged meaningful connections. It was a rewarding and deeply memorable experience that supported both their musical growth and personal development.
The 2026–2027 Extra-curricular Activity Carnival of Man Kwan Pak Kau College was successfully held on 16 and 17 September in the school hall. The carnival enabled students to learn about the aims and features of our clubs and teams before making their choices for the year.
Clubs and teams set up booths to introduce their activities and to offer hands-on experiences. Students viewed visual-arts works, watched fencing and rope-skipping demonstrations, and spoke with members of the music and sports groups. Through visits, questions and participation, they gained a clearer understanding of learning opportunities beyond the classroom, and of what senior students have gained from taking part.
The school regards extra-curricular activities as an essential part of whole-person education. They help students develop their interests, confidence, teamwork and a sense of responsibility. We sincerely thank School Supervisor Professor Tam Man Kwan, Principal Wong Wing Tung, our teachers, student helpers from the clubs and teams, and all students who attended, for their support in making the carnival a success.
In the new academic year, we hope every student will make good use of these opportunities — to try with courage, to keep improving, and to pursue excellence beyond the classroom.
