On December 15th, our school was invited by Cumberland Presbyterian Church Yao Dao Primary School to attend an introductory session held that evening. We introduced our school curriculum and the characteristics of Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) schools. On that evening, Principal Wong, along with our teachers, student representative Yeung Shun Hei from class 2C, and his mother went to Cumberland Presbyterian Church Yao Dao Primary School to give the presentation and share information. Shun Hei is a former student of Cumberland Presbyterian Church Yao Dao Primary School. This time, he returned to his alma mater as a student representative to share his experiences of his school life. At Man Kwan Pak Kau College, Shun Hei’s academic performance has improved and he has been actively involved in various activities, such as joining the school football team. In addition, he has joined the school’s exchange tours to Taiwan, the Mainland China and Macau twice which broaden his horizons as he is only a S.2 student. Shun Hei’s mother also shared how Shun Hei has changed since joining our school. He used to lack self-confidence, but now he dares to share on stage, and his self-confidence and sense of responsibility have both increased.
