Admission to S.1

Application Guidance Notes

We are a non-profit making Direct Subsidy Scheme secondary school participating in Secondary School Places Allocation. We are now inviting applications for Secondary

One Discretionary Places (2023-2024). All applicants will be invited to attend an interview. Each Primary 6 student may apply for no more than two secondary school places which participate in the Secondary One Discretionary Places Scheme.

Applicants can register online or go to the school office during office hours to obtain and submit the application form.

Applicants are required to submit the following supporting documents to the general office in person before 17/1/2023 during office hours.

  • An application Form for S1 Discretionary Place
  • A photocopy of applicant’s HKID Card
  • A recent photo of applicant
  • Photocopies of P.5 Annual School Report
  • A photocopy of P.6 1st term School Report
  • Applicants need not submit any recommendation letter from primary school
Selection Criteria and Weighting
  • Academic Performance (30%)
  • Conduct (30%)
  • External Competition Performance / Extra-curricular Activities (20%)
  • Interview performance (20%)
Interview Arrangement

Students will be notified by telephone of the interview arrangements.

S.1 School Fees

The school fee is $6,000* /year.  $600 /installment, 10 installments in total.

School Fee Remission Scheme will be provided by the school to assist families requiring financial help. For more information, please click here.

Release of SSPA Results

According to the Education Bureau, the school will notify the successful applicants on 31st March 2023 by phone and email (the number of S.1 Discretionary Places is 130), and the other allocation results will be released directly by primary schools on 11st July 2023 (Tuesday).
