Our students visited the Ma Wan Solar Tower on December 2 to participate in the “Green Day in Ma Wan (STREAM x Renewable Energy)” event organized by the ATAL Engineering Group and Rainbow Foundation. The event was led by ATAL’s corporate volunteers, Dr. Tim Woo, Associate Professor of Engineering Education at the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, HKUST, and his team. They conducted workshops on “Building Your Own Wind Turbine” and “Creating Your Solar Adventure Car” to familiarize students with the applications of renewable energy and enhance their subject knowledge.
