2024-2025 School Sports Team Taipei Training Camp

From July 12 to 16, 36 members of our Athletics Team participated in a training camp in Taipei, where they received professional coaching from Olympic team trainers at the National Taiwan Sport University. The high-intensity sessions covered running, javelin, and discus training. Through these challenges, the students pushed their limits and set higher goals for future competitions! In addition, they attended a professional baseball game and experienced the thrill of playing baseball, immersing themselves in the charm of sports.

Let us embrace the spirit of ”Exercise Daily,“ actively participate in sports activities, strengthen our bodies, and bravely pursue our dreams!

2024-2025 Joint School Ireland Nature and Culture Study Tour

Inter-School Ireland Nature and Culture Exchange Tour (June 21-30, 2025) (Day 1 to Day 5: Dublin)

A group of 32 participants from the Inter-School Ireland Nature and Culture Exchange Tour set off for Ireland on June 21 for a ten-day exploratory exchange program.

After more than ten hours of travel, the students arrived in Dublin and immediately visited the Library of Trinity College to experience the local academic atmosphere. The following day, they visited the Dublin Confucius Institute at Dublin City University, where they engaged in exchange activities with local students, sharing their cultural backgrounds and fostering international friendships. Most importantly, staying in the dormitories of Dublin City University allowed the students to experience university life.

Additionally, the group visited Kilmainham Gaol, O’Connell Street, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Butlers Chocolate Factory, the Dublin General Post Office (GPO), Powerscourt House & Gardens, and Kilkenny Castle, gaining a deeper understanding of Ireland’s historical and cultural heritage.

Our S5 CLAPTECH ApL “Multimedia Storytelling” students have just completed an enriching and unforgettable study tour in Kansai!(23-26 Jun, 2025) 


CLAP-TECH Japan (Osaka) Study Tour

During this 4-day, 3-night journey, students: 

*Broadened their horizons* by exploring overseas applications and cutting-edge technology related to multimedia

Experienced the vibrant atmosphere of the 2025 Osaka Expo

Visited various academic and cultural landmarks to inspire creative thinking 

Highlights of the Tour: 

– OCA Osaka College of Design & Technology: Gained insights into Japan’s latest advancements in multimedia design and technology 

– NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station: Explored behind-the-scenes operations of professional media production 

– Osaka Science and Technology Museum: Experienced the charm of cutting-edge innovations 

– Kyocera Museum of Art* & *Tenryu-ji Temple in Kyoto: Immersed in Japan’s art and Zen culture 

– Shinsaibashi: A fusion of cultural and commercial experiences 

In addition, our students had the opportunity to interact and learn with peers from *three other schools*, sharing ideas and inspiring each other! 


Every stop of the journey was filled with learning and surprises. Not only did our students enhance their understanding of multimedia applications, but they also learned how to integrate culture, technology, and storytelling to create their own unique and compelling narratives! 

Special thanks to CLAPTECH and Hong Kong Baptist University for their meticulous planning and support. Our students returned with valuable experiences and are excited to apply what they’ve learned to craft even more amazing stories in the future!

The 27th Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition

Our students achieved excellent results in the 27th Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition, organized by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association and sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong), demonstrating remarkable innovation and scientific capabilities.

The competition aims to promote STEAM education and the development of innovation and technology, attracting participation from primary and secondary students across Hong Kong. At the award ceremony, the Secretary for Education, Dr. Choi Yuk-lin, JP, emphasized that STEAM education is a cornerstone for nurturing future innovation and technology talent. Through participation in such competitions, students have not only enhanced their interdisciplinary integration and practical skills, but also strengthened their problem-solving and teamwork abilities, laying a solid foundation for future engagement in the innovation and technology sector.

Our school remains dedicated to promoting STEAM education, nurturing students’ potential, and encouraging them to actively participate in diverse learning experiences and innovation challenges.

4th Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition

To promote aerospace technology among teenagers and enhance the aerospace technology skills of Hong Kong youth, our students participated in the “4th Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition” organized by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association.

During the competition, experts and professors from various colleges and industries were invited as judges. The students learned about different aerospace technologies and incorporated elements into their projects, winning several awards. This award ceremony recognized the outstanding performance and efforts of the participants, boosting their confidence in the STEAM fields.

The 9th National Youth Drone Competition (Hong Kong Division) and 2025 Hong Kong Primary and Secondary School Drone Competition – Blue Bird Cup

Our students achieved outstanding results in the 9th National Youth Drone Competition (Hong Kong Division) and the 2025 Hong Kong Primary and Secondary School Drone Competition – Blue Bird Cup.

Our students participated in three events: the Individual Flight Restricted Race, the Team Relay Restricted Race, and the Individual Flight Freestyle Competition. In these events, students were required to operate various types of drones to complete obstacle courses. The Team Relay Restricted Race, in particular, emphasized teamwork and adaptability under changing conditions.

Competing against talented participants from other schools in Hong Kong, our students delivered impressive performances. 3D Liu Kin Hei won second runner-up in the Individual Flight Freestyle Competition, while 3E Hung Tsz Yeung received a third-class award. Additionally, 2E Fu Cheuk Yin, 4A Chan Wai Chung, 4A Tang Kai Lok Jophy, and 4C Kong Pak Hey  Moses secured second runner-up in the Team Relay Restricted Race.

We look forward to seeing them continue to excel in the field of drones and contribute to the advancement of drones and STEAM education in the future.
