To boost students’ interest in reading, our school’s Reading Group recently hosted a book-sharing event at D-Expo. The classic work featured in this event was The BFG.

The BFG was written by the master of fantasy children’s literature, Roald Dahl. He was one of the 20th century’s most popular British children’s authors, having created globally acclaimed classics such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and The BFG.

The event was led by teacher Miss Wong Wing Ki, with two students from Class 2C—Lau Cheuk Lam Nathan and Mak Long Him—sharing together.

The atmosphere on-site was vibrant and enthusiastic. Students remained fully engaged throughout and were deeply captivated by the wonderful content. Following the sharing session, students responded with great enthusiasm, actively borrowing related books and demonstrating a keen interest and proactive attitude toward reading. The event was a complete success!
