The 17th Enrolment Service of the 251st Company of The Boys’ Brigade, Hong Kong was successfully held on May 21st.
The enrolment service is a mandatory ceremony for all members of the company. Through this ceremony, members publicly express their commitment to fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, while also pledging to uphold values such as obedience, piety, discipline, and self-love.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our honourable guests: Ms. Leung Cheung Yee-wa, Assistant District Commander of the New Territories West and Kowloon West (NKW) District; Mr. Ng Wai-yin, Chaplain of the 296th Company; and Madam Tam Wing-ki, Secretary of the Uniformed Group Division, for officiating the ceremony.
A badge presentation session was also included in the ceremony, during which members received the Target Badge and Environmental Protection Badge from the honourable guests and the principal. Notably, some members participated in the “I Make My Learning Journey” World Expo2025 Self-Directed Learning Tour during the Easter holidays. Prior to the tour, they attended the International Relations Badge course, conducted research, and planned their own itineraries for the exchange program. After completing the study tour, they documented their learning experiences in journals. These members were awarded the International Relations Badge during the presentation session. It is believed that such experiences will provide valuable inspiration and contribute significantly to the members’ personal growth and ability to navigate the world.
