STEAM & Authentic Learning – Let the students be ACTIVE!
The STEAM educational activity is one of the most popular themes in our Deep Learning Week. In our recent Deep Learning Week, more than 100 students were arranged to participate in the InnoCarnival 2022 which is held at the Hong Kong Science Park. Through participating in the activity, our students are expected to enhance their understanding and application of innovation and technology as well as nourishing their interests in STEAM.
The InnoCarnival is organized by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. It aims at promoting the culture of innovation and technology in the community. The nine-day carnival themed “Innovation & Technology empower our dreams” has a series of interactive and educational activities, including the showcase of local inventions and research achievements.
Students can experience the application of innovation and technology in different industries. In the meantime, they are able to broaden their horizon through participating in these activities. It also nourishes the 6C deep learning ability of our students. Students will show their abilities through different works of innovation and technology by combining the knowledge obtained in the Deep Learning Week as well as the Authentic Learning.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our School Open Day, which will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of December. We hope you can enjoy the work of our students in the upcoming Open Day.
