The 8th International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF 2026)

Our school has been actively promoting STEAM education and is committed to nurturing students’ innovative thinking, innovation and technology competence, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to grow and shine on their journey of invention and innovation.

Recently, our students represented Hong Kong as members of the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition delegation at the 8th International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF 2026), organised by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia. The offline competition was held from 13 to 15 October 2026 at Universitas Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia. The students presented their research project, Silver Stride, and attained the Gold Award in the Technology category, fully demonstrating their outstanding innovation and technology competence, creativity and teamwork.

The award-winning students are as follows:

Technology Category: Gold Award

Throughout the competition, the students demonstrated excellent teamwork, perseverance in inquiry, and the ability to transform ideas into innovative concepts and practical solutions. From Hong Kong to the international stage, their hard work, dedication and growth throughout the preparation process deserve recognition and appreciation.

This valuable competition experience not only further inspired students’ passion for scientific inquiry, invention and innovation, but also enabled them to exchange experiences with young people from different countries and broaden their horizons, laying a solid foundation for their future learning and development in innovation and technology.

Looking ahead, our school will continue to fully support students in participating in a wide range of invention and innovation activities, providing broader learning platforms and encouraging them to strive for excellence and scale new heights on their journey of innovation.

Congratulations once again to all our students!
